Information for parents
Parents and families are crucial partners for us in many ways. We expect that, as a parent, you’ll be looking for a school where your child can not only achieve their maximum potential but also enjoy their learning.
We would like for you to share that enjoyment and join in with our learning community. We want you to feel confident in supporting your child outside school, to help him or her become a highly successful learner. When we say parents, we include all those who are carers for children including foster parents, guardians, step-parents and grandparents.
We realise that to help your child, you need to understand what and how they are learning at school, what progress they are making and the kinds of activities that will help them. We spend time with parents so that you feel up-to-date on how children learn these days and confident in supporting them outside of school.
Parents, teachers and children make a great team. Parents are always welcome at the school and have opportunities to come along on school trips and class visits.
We take the responsibility of educating your child extremely seriously and we value the opportunity to work in partnership with KCA families.
