Headteacher’s Welcome
Welcome to King’s Cross Academy
I am delighted to welcome you to the King’s Cross Academy website.
At King’s Cross Academy, we believe that education should develop both knowledge and character. Our aim is for every child to leave us not only with a strong academic foundation, but also with the values, confidence and sense of purpose needed to thrive in modern society.
Everything we do is underpinned by our six core values: Courage, Respect, Kindness, Integrity, Endurance and Aspiration. These values shape our curriculum, guide our relationships and help define the culture of our school. We want children to have the courage to embrace challenge, the respect to value others, the kindness to contribute positively to their community, the integrity to do what is right, the endurance to persevere through difficulty and the aspiration to achieve their very best.
Our motto, “Love Learning Together”, reflects our belief that education is built on strong relationships and shared ambition. We work in partnership with pupils, families, staff and the wider community to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued and able to succeed.
Situated in the heart of one of London’s most exciting and diverse communities, we are proud to offer opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. From sharing our building with Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children to working alongside organisations such as Central Saint Martins, the Francis Crick Institute, Google UK and many other local partners, our children benefit from experiences that broaden horizons, enrich learning and raise aspirations.
King’s Cross Academy is a school where children are encouraged to find their voice, discover their strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning. We are ambitious for every child and committed to ensuring that all pupils flourish academically, socially and personally.
I hope you find our website informative and that it provides a sense of the vibrant, inclusive and values-driven community we are so proud to be part of. I would be delighted to welcome you to the school in person, please do click here to book on to a tour.
