I am delighted to welcome you to King’s Cross Academy.

We are a proudly inclusive and diverse school, serving an extraordinary community in the heart of King’s Cross. Our children come from a rich range of backgrounds, speak more than 50 languages and bring different experiences, strengths and perspectives to our school. We believe this diversity makes our community – and the education we provide – stronger.

At King’s Cross Academy, we believe education should develop both knowledge and character. Our ambition is for every child, whatever their starting point or individual needs, to achieve highly and leave us with the knowledge, confidence and character they need to thrive.

Everything we do is underpinned by our six core values: Courage, Respect, Kindness, Integrity, Endurance and Aspiration. They shape our curriculum, guide our relationships and define the culture of our school. Our motto, ‘Love Learning Together’, reflects our belief that children achieve their best when they feel safe, valued, included and part of an ambitious community.

Our location gives our children opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. From learning alongside Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children to partnerships with Central Saint Martins, the Francis Crick Institute, Google UK and organisations across King’s Cross and beyond, we use the extraordinary resources around us to enrich learning, broaden horizons and raise aspirations.

We want every child to discover their strengths, find their voice and develop a genuine love of learning. Academic excellence matters enormously to us, but so too do creativity, curiosity, wellbeing and personal development. Our aim is simple: for every child to flourish academically, socially and personally.

I hope our website gives you a sense of what makes King’s Cross Academy such a vibrant and distinctive place to learn. Nothing, however, compares to seeing our school in action. I would be delighted to welcome you for a visit and show you what it means to Love Learning Together.
