Lesson and break times
Lessons take place throughout the morning and afternoon, with a short break each morning. We ask that children bring a piece of fruit for their daily snack.
We have a strict policy regarding the types of food permitted in the academy during snack time, and we kindly ask all parents to support us by ensuring this policy is followed.
-
Lunch and afternoon sessions
Lunchtime is an important part of the school day, providing children with the opportunity to refuel, socialise and enjoy a break from their lessons. Lunch takes place in a calm, well-supervised environment where staff encourage good manners, healthy choices and positive interactions.
Children may bring a packed lunch from home or choose a meal provided by the academy’s in house catering service. We are supported by the brilliant Chef’s in Schools.
After finishing their meal, children have time to play outdoors, take part in organised activities or relax with friends. Our lunchtime team works to ensure that all pupils feel safe, included and supported throughout the break.
